Ranch Studios' political thriller "Conflict of Interest" is in the final stages of post-production, and it's looking good, with unbelievable performances by a stellar cast, and a whiz-bang job by the post-production team.

We recently got our hands on the poster and trailer, and we're very excited to share them with you here.

Ranch Studios, in association with Fast Talk'n Productions and Proud Mary Productions, is pleased to announce the start of pre-production on "The Ascent," which is slated to go before the lens later this month.

This high-energy thriller is written and directed by Steven James Creazzo, produced by Mary L. Aloe, Kerry Wallum, and David Cuddy, and stars Josie Davis, William McNamera, Martin Kove, and Joe Estevez.

Brad Keller directs C. Thomas Howell and Dedee Pfeiffer in "Mia's Father," a taut family drama which wrapped principle photography on September 27th, at Kyle, TX based Ranch Studios.

"Mia's Father" was scripted by Bonnie Orr, from a story by Executive Producer David Cuddy.

On June 24th, principle photography on Ranch Studio's feature film "Conflict of Interest" wrapped, and everybody went home.

Starring Michael Madsen, Joe Estevez, Kerry Wallum, and Francesco Quinn, the film is going full-steam into post production.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, the team is preparing a promotional strategy for "Conflict of Interest" which includes web videos, photos, and a trailer, not to mention an actual website. Stay tuned for more as it comes in!

This past February, the Austin Filim Festival held their "Writer's Ranch 2008" event at Ranch Studios. Here is a snippet from AFF's website www.austinfilmfestival.com:

"The 2008 Writers' Ranch participants, as selected by a committee of various producers and executives associated with the Festival, included 2007 screenplay competition Sci-Fi Semi-finalists Kathy Garcia (The Kingdom), Adult/Family Semi-finalist Keith Davidson (When Lanterns Dim), and Adult/Family Finalist Sean Minogue (Son of No Man). They were joined this year by James V. Hart (Hook, Dracula, and upcoming Atlas Shrugged and Cat’s Cradle), Alma Kuttruff (Dazed and Confused, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, The Hitcher) and Herschel Weingrod (Trading Places, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, and Falling Down)."
